Maybe you’ve been doing this, too

Tonight I got this note from the Universe:

“Dwelling on the unimportant, stressing on the unintended, and freaking over the unknown, Nina, simply doesn’t work… and are a bit like lighting a match in a dark room to make sure no one accidentally sprinkled any gunpowder on your bicycle, kept under the stairs, near the back porch, in January.

“Actually, some of that wasn’t really important, but hopefully it distracted from any stigma you may have attached to freaking over the unknown.”

And I realized: Gawd. I have been freaking over the unknown. It’s time to chill, let things unfold, and make sound decisions based on what is already here. My brother recently reminded me, for instance, that the United States is where it is today largely because of speculation and because some people made some bad decisions based on huge “what-ifs.” As we all know now, it wasn’t exactly the best way to go.

The present is here, and it is a gift to be enjoyed as is, where is. For the moment.

If you’ve been “freaking over the unknown” like I have been, this is for you, too. 🙂

Let’s enjoy a bit of a chill-out moment. 🙂

Oh, my gosh! Ms. Nina! Haha! I can relate to this. Actually, I’ve been thinking and praying to God last night to help me overcome this “overthinking about the unknown.” I call it My Hallucinations. Haha! The message of Samantha Sotto’s Before Ever After rings back to me–the NOW. This is what I envision this 2012–myself enjoying the NOW and worrying less of what’s not here. I actually plan to make a dream board about this vision. I’m sad I can’t make it on the dream boarding night (is that tonight?) but then, I’ll still try to do it on my own. Let’s see what I can come up. Thanks again for an inspiring post! 🙂
